My name is Carolyn and I am the Owner and Head Groomer here at Furology! I have been in the industry for over 17 years and have been grooming since 2008. I was taught how to groom by the amazing Nancy BRyson of Bryson’s Grooming Academy and have continued to learn and improve my skills over the years with the help of seminars and the incredible groomers I have had the opportunity and blessing to work with.
I love doing both breed standard and pet haircuts and making your pets look and feel their best! Here at Furology, we provide a one on one grooming experience for your pets in order to promote a relaxed atmosphere.
I’m active in the rescue world and provide pro-bono grooming to two local rescues, Friends of Forsaken Animals and Paws Above! These two rescues are very dear to my heart and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new furry friend!
I groom cats. Yes, cats. No, I’m not crazy. Providing cat grooming is very important to me because of my background with cat rescue. Cats can be tricky (and sometimes downright angry) about being groomed but they still deserve to be clean and matt-free and I will always do my best to get that done!
I have a zoo at home and love spending time with my babies. With 2 dogs, 3 cats and our lovely shop conure, Kiwi – I have a pretty busy life even when I’m not at work!
My amazing friend and coworker Katherine joined us in 2021! She studied at Fluffy Paws Grooming School and started with us right after school! She loves the big burly dogs and has two of her own at home!
